Who We Are
Justina Mejias is a seasoned educator with nearly 20 years of tutoring experience, specializing in the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills (CARS) section of the MCAT. Her expertise was honed at the Princeton Review in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she trained under Jennifer Woodel, the architect of The Princeton Review's MCAT CARS curriculum and materials.
Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music, Justina blends her artistic background with her educational pursuits. She is also a certified 200-hour Kripalu Yoga Instructor, bringing a unique, holistic perspective to her teaching. As an accomplished Nuyorican Poet and Slam Poetry champion, Justina has showcased her work at prestigious venues, including the 2021 Whitney Biennial’s “Quiet as it’s Kept” and the “Greater New York” exhibit at MoMA PS1.
Her diverse skills and experiences inform her holistic approach to tutoring, where she is dedicated to nurturing both academic excellence and personal growth in her students, empowering them to achieve their fullest potential.
